Organised by Brahma Kumaris in partnership with UK Values Alliance*

Bringing out our best for the times ahead

This event aims to recreate the powerful, peaceful and empowering atmosphere of the annual day retreat, which we have had in previous years for World Values Day. It is an opportunity to take time out to appreciate our inner strengths and values so that we can be our best and do our best in the days ahead.
Through a process of reflection, journaling, dialogue and meditation, we will go on an inner journey and connect with and nurture our higher self, the hero within, and emerge with new hope, strength and a clearer vision as to how we will contribute to creating a better world.

Contributors include:
Nina Buchanan, former manager in the Voluntary Sector, meditation teacher and funeral celebrant.
Charles Fowler FRSA, member of the Steering Group of the UK Values Alliance and Chair of Human Values Foundation.
Samantha Fraser, a primary school teacher and meditator, who has spent much of her career working in different parts of Africa.
Jayanti Kirpalani, European Director of Brahma Kumaris and a highly regarded spiritual teacher and leader.
Georgeanne Lamont, mindfulness teacher and co-author of Values and Visions: Engaging Students, Refreshing Teachers.
John McConnel, stress management trainer and editor of Living Our Values: an inside-out approach to change your life for the better.
